Biography

Lidya Akkus is known for Defne (2025), Ahtapot (2019). She was born in Istanbul in 2011 and began acting in several commercials, public service announcements, and TV dramas during her primary school years. In 2021, she played the lead role in Ahtapot (Octopus), for which she won the Best Child Actor award at the Sapporo International Short Film Festival. This short film was selected for the Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival and many other festivals.
